The park I made from a closer-to-the-ground perspective.
I GOT SO MANY NEW FOLLOWERS! Welcome! :D
However I’ve been super busy and been lacking on my story telling. Fear not! I’ve started a new park and begun taking plenty of screenshots. I’ll be uploading them sometime during this week or next so there should be some activity coming from me at some point over that span of time.
Thanks for continuing to follow even though there’s been such an incredible lack of activity here.
This is that promised picture of the cow that lives…
It’s been six years since this glitch first happened (in terms of Operation Genesis years).
This is what a prefect day looks like in Jurassic Park.
Speaking from a manger point of view, of course.
It was a godawful experience.
I’m not sure what I did to deserve it, but I had a surprise pop-up twister, and then another not even a block-down later.
Allow me to start from the beginning; from my pervious story, about the second park that was demolished by the twister - I had ironically saved before the defeat, and so today I loaded it up again and this time saved myself the casualties by setting the emergency alarm and taking proper preparations.
I lost two and a half stars, left down to 2 1/2 stars left (it was a 5 star park originally before the twister hit).
After that, everything was smooth sailing - I set the park up, made repairs (slowly but surely), made a second entrance, got another cage up and running as well as new dinosaurs bred into the park. I had about 45 dinosaurs back up and around 93 people, so population was good, crowding was controlled, and everyone was happy.
I need to start building my parks in the lower right hand corner of the map, because that seems to be the only place those twisters don’t hit - my park is set in the upper left-hand corner (a change from the first park I started last week, which was in the upper right hand corner instead).
This is Shirley Temple.
She took 21 of my dinosaurs with her and sprinkled the park like a child in diapers plays with glitter.
I fixed 92% of my park and all of it’s electronics, there was no casualties, and besides a few dead dinosaurs laying in the center of the side-walk, scaring the visitors, everything was fine.
I immediately closed down, set the emergency alarm and fired my cleaning employees as fast as I could. I had about $6000, which -needless to say, is like trying to fix your car with a small wrench. The sad thing is, I used the $$ only to keep the carnivore’s cages in tact, to keep them from eating people.
So long as I had that Tyrannosaurs Rex as my five star attraction, I was pretty good in the money making business.
The only odd thing about this twister is:
If you look closely, there’s a cow there - he wouldn’t move, he didn’t die out, so I had to build the cage around him, I’ll take another picture of that later.
Anyway - I recovered, and shortly after adding a third and forth entrance, a few more dorms, and tackling two other twisters (August is apparently the season for twisters on my map) I earned this:
I’m going to continue working on the park until I finish it to the way I’d like it to be finished, and then maybe I’ll start a new one, or keep telling stories of this one. Later I’ll share what my map looks like and the kind of dinosaurs I’m taking care of.
So I’ve decided that I will do my best to update every Friday a story from my own park. I tend to be busy a lot during the week and with little time to play, so there’s not much I can do to entertain you guys!
So you must rely on yourselves to provide the rest of the stories. I’ll be on to check and approve/post other people’s stories, in the mean while I’d like to welcome the new followers!
